About

An independent ontology project by Jeff Goodrich.

Actuality Ontology is a place for rigorous, strange, contact-first writing about appearance, awareness, coherence, ethics, language, and the ordinary world as the site of the real.

Not a brand

A field station, not a funnel.

This site exists to hold the work without sanding it into platform sludge. It is not a guru page, startup brochure, academic performance, or lifestyle product.

It is a home base for books, formal papers, essays, images, field notes, and practical orientations toward care.

The project

Appearance, coherence, contact.

The work centers a simple reversal: lived appearance is not ontologically secondary. Appearance is where actuality becomes available, constrained, and definite.

The formal language develops through Protospace, undivided admissibility, coherent closure, experiential instantiation, perspective as local closure, and care as the ethics of actuality.

Tone law

Severe, human, and useful.

The project aims for clarity without sterilization. Beauty without perfume. Precision without contempt. Wonder without abandoning the dishes.

Reality is not elsewhere. That sentence is not an aesthetic. It is a demand.
